Default Service centers and TSB work

Iv been reading the posts, adn my MY00 s2k has the 1-2nd gear grinds as well as the decel buzzing. Iv had the car for about 2 months now, and the clutch is beging to slip. Im getting a new clutch no doubt, but my qestion is, will honda honor the TSB's for the grinds and decel buzz even if my clutch is slipping during hard acceleration?
If so what service center is a place to go to? I have extended warrantee but its from Chrysler. But the rep I talked to said they will cover what honda considers within their warrantee policy.
And at last if they do agree to Fix it through the TSB, would I have to pay for the labor? and can i give them an aftermarket clutch/ Fly wheel/ or Pressure plate? and they could install it?

TIA,

My car is a MY00

i'm picking mine up from andys shop tonight! i had just under 23k on my my00 - you have to get it diagnosed by the dealer, then you have to call american honda and open a case. a couple of days later the regional honda rep will give you a call and evaluate the situation. everyone was great to work with at jim coleman and at honda corporate which says a lot for how they back up their work!!! i just bought an element from andy, and it's a toss up with whose better - andy (in sales) or the service department at jim coleman!!

just kiddin' andy, you rock!!!!

well I talked to honda, and chrysler today, and both said to have honda tech see if it is the tsb thats actualy the prob. and if it was, the computer would say weather if it is covered or not. Is some of this true? that means if you still have the prob, and the computer says no its not covered Id have to pay for it?

My MY02 has 20000 miles and I'm also having a problem with the clutch. Jim Coleman is replacing the clutch this week under warranty. Their service department has been awesome, especially Clifton Webb!

I'm also having some grinding b/n 1st and 2nd gear. I'll have to ask Andy or Cliff about any other TSBs.

Jim Coleman is also going to fix my ABS. The light comes on intermittently.

Jim Coleman rocks!

The TSB work is only covered under the Honda factory warranty (3yr 36k), NOT the Honda Care warranty - since the Honda Care warranty doesn't cover it, then you can probably bet that the Chrysler warranty won't! Go through the process I explained above, and the regional honda rep may authorize a "goodwill" gesture if the symptoms are there and the mileage is reasonable. They (Jim Coleman and the rep) were great to work with, but I am the original owner and I had very low miles on my car considering I got it in November 1999.

Good luck!
