My real job is not ISP related. I design custom furniture, clubs, bars, and for a select few the interiors of houses. ISP is a HOBBY related after work priority. I DO NOT get paid by ISP. Im not there to make money, im simply there for R&D purposes (which I personally have put on hold because of certain things). The shop will continue to do R&D with my assistance but things I personally was working on are now on hold and moved to the back burner. I just wanted to clear this up because alot of people dont understand that ISP is an extension of my passion for cars, and they provide the opportunity to continue with that. Im only carrying the ISP name to assist Peter in the s2000 community.

I can only assume this has something to do with posting restrictions placed on "sponsors." If you feel strongly that a certain shop can be of benefit to our S2000 community, that is your choice. Sharing that information as an owner is completely allowed and we do it all the time. The problem lies in the fact that you, regardless of actual company status, are listed as a sponsor. That immediately ties your hands(or mouth as it were) as far as being able to even suggest using said shop.

From the looks of things now, it seems it would have been better to not have taken on the "sponsor" title. I'm sorry for any inconvenience, however, all sponsors are held to the same standards. Having PM'd back-n-forth with Peter, I'm convinced that he will adhere to the rules willingly.

 

This isnt targeted at anyone. That was after numerous people thought ISP was my shop (and yea I wish it was). I understand the rules of the site and our conversation last night skip was not the reason for this thread. I just wanted the community to understand where im coming from. Trust me ive spoken to many people and not one person has said a bad thing and im in agreement with their comments 100%.

Just so you're not caught unaware, it seems that your signature, as well as mine, may be in violation of the site's rules despite all parties represented in our sigs being site sponsors.
