Aaron is offering advice on a lubricant!!!!!!

You didn't spend too much time with this guy did you??? http://www.thesun.co.uk/article/1,,2007110349,00.html

I'm especially worried because of your response to the post that Mike made with this link in the Hardly at work thread

Dylan, not sure if this is the right grease for that sort of thing or not. This stuff is designed to be absorbed into the rubber seals and keep them from drying out. You probably need something more suitable as an actual lubricant. (I'm expecting a :skip: on that... )
Ok, so who has some of this stuff that I can borrow. Every time I put my drivers side window down, there's this stupid ass noise. I'm pretty sure it's due to the rubber seal.

If it is Shin Etsu you're looking for... I have an unopened tube.

I do not have any lubricants to provide... you're gonna have to go to aaron to get the right kind of those to use on your car...

You'll have more issues with cold and dry winter weather drying out the seals than with humid and hot in the summer... same sort of preventative maintenance should go into your leather seats. not much to worry about during the summer, but now that I'm up here in the winter I'm going to spend more time keeping everything greased up.

If that is all you want is one tube, go to your local Honda Dealer and order part # 08798-9013. Retail on it is 15.85. I don't think any online seller can beat your local Honda store.
If you register on my site and log in you will see the correct shipping prices for your area. If you are not logged in, the site defaults to shipping to zip 90210 which is California.
Thanks - Skip actually sent me some contact information for you, but I figured for an odd thing like this, the dealership would make the most sense. Did think of you first though!

Appreciate the help.

would anyone be interested in just splitting a tube of this? if it only takes a few dabs per car why not just have a few people chip in to lower the cost? we can make a meet out of it.
