Let us all know I might follow you on this one and get it.
I was about to get it, but decided for more guinea pigs to try it out and let us all know how it is.

I was considering this as well! The final "no go" for me was the fact that my dumb-self put lock-tite on my Ricks Pistol Grip shift knob. So if I did swap over to a new shifter, I'd have to get an all new shift knob - and the pistol grip is just too nice!

Nah, Ricks Pistol Grip = Hotness! Also have a Mugen shift knob somewhere in/on the toolbox. Oh, and a stock leather GSR shift knob in my room somewhere.

completely off topic from a porsche board
pologies in advance if anyone is offended, but just I have to share this..
As I was walking in the parking lot of a grocery store yesterday, I passed by a not so well kept 944 ( not dented or anything, but far from a sparkling example..)

Instinctively, I looked at the interior to see the condition of the seats and other stuff.. and then..even I, not one to flinch easily, was stunned by the UNDOUBTEDLY AFTER MARKET shifter knob. And when I say knob... well, let's see how I can put this in a civilized manner : nah, no way to do it.. the shifter was a dildo !! Flesh color on top of it all..

I laughed so hard, I must have passed the odwalla drink I was sipping right trough my nose. You have to give it to the owner ( ok, questionable choice of words ) to have the gaul driving that. But I suppose it makes for good practice. She ( he ? ) must have a great sense of humor.. weird, but funny

Well with this many people in the area wanting to hear or try it. If I buy it, I'll offer anyone a quick spin around the block for $5. Maybe in the long run it won't cost me anything to get this mod.
