I *RETRACT* my previous statement. I am having a bad time with D&L tinting now. The driver's side window came out fine. The passenger side window had a small crease/bubble on one side, not too bad, but I noticed it. I didn't want it to get worse or tear, so I went back. They couldn't fix it, so they replaced the tint on that window (and took a long time doing it). Well, a day later and the tint is dry and looks like $heeeit. There is dirt trapped in there and a lot of bubbles and even a small tear.
So now, I have to take off during work to drive over there (they're only open until 5pm) and see if I can get it fixed. Not only that, but I won't be in the area over the weekend in case it happens again.
I can't believe such a highly recommended place did such a shoddy job twice...
Will keep you all informed...

I can *Guarantee* that if you go to California Tint in Tyson's Corner, VA you will have no issues and nothing but professional work done. Trust me, my friends/family have been going there for years...but whatever.

I thank you for the advice, but since I paid them already they're going to keep fixing this until I am satisfied. Plus, Tyson's corner is awfully far from Owings Mills, MD.

OK, it's all fixed now. Had a long talk with the owner...

Here's a question, what do I use to clean the inside with now? I hear ammonia-based products (windex, etc) are not good for the tint.

True, just use warm soap and water....or get a glass cleaner that does not have ammonia based products or products that harm aluminum....

Yes, ammonia based cleaners will alter the color of the tint, making it bluish I think. Something like that.
