Default Soft Top Tear

Hey guys, just wondering if any of you guys have the tearing issue wid the soft top and how to fix it. Or maybe i just need to get a hardtop or a new soft top.

damn.. you have an 05 and got a rip? what happened? i ended up going HT and taking out the soft top..

i reinforce the inside with black ducktape. it holds pretty well. some people epoxy more pieces of top to the inside to reinforce also.

yeah you could tape it, or get a HT, or just buy a new soft top

yeah. i've been black ducktaping it but it's only a quick fix.
I need something a little more permanent. I guess it's a hardtop =P

i now have oem HT........and i will NEVER look back. i never regret it.. even when running witht he guys top down and i'm with my HT... i love it so much better.......so much quieter..stable.......rollin up the windows, and listen to music... sounds SO much nicer.

when i get my new soft top, i will be using shards of my old one and epoxying the typical tear areas for reinforcement.

i bought a convertable for a reason. damnit.
