In Virginia,
They are starting to crack down a lot more now, the 4 big things are, Tinted Windows, No front License plate, Any Exhaust that does not look OEM or sound OEM,
And Ride Height.
In the 4 years, that i have daily driven my s2000. i have over $2,000 in tickets for just no front tags and illegal exhaust. Even now with a quieter dual exhaust, i still get pulled. (i even painted it just like the OEM one)
i also have been pulled by the same cop, numerous times, and he always writes the ticket. because he remembers my car.
It's all part of the game now. Around here, you have to pay to play.
Virginia Sucks.
Maybe you could have just raised the car up a bit, got rid of the tint, and went back to OEM exhaust or something less attracting.
Hope to see ya back in another one eventually, we all know that everyone comes back to the Family.

I thought about switching it up and making it legal but I've had the car for 4 years without an issue. Now two months ago its like they put a bullseye on my car. As far as suspension goes they told me my car was illegal because of the ground clearance? Said your car has to clear a standing up soda can. My car always just pushed it over, lol. Yes Nesir I left everything in it and as is. Those seats started to become uncomfortable when I started to gain weight. I'll 100% percent be back in an S2000 by mid-summer if im not already in one by april just for the dragon lol. Just not a blue one with painted black windows and wheels. Im thinking maybe a non staggered white ap1 if I can find one to fit my standards. Still have never driven a ap1, maybe I'll like it, if not I know I'll like another ap2.

Wow, that's all screwed up. A lot of police I know and have talked to are cool, but a few screw it up for everyone. Maybe they're not getting anything good at home or something?
