Some people get hyper competitive about it, but I always looked at autocross as a way to have fun flinging the car around without having to worry about getting a ticket or sliding into a ditch. I'm pretty certain I've been the slowest S2000 at every event I've ever run, and I don't care. I was thinking of going to Pungo on Sunday, but I have too much stuff to get done.

^At the next event I want you to go out and drive like a maniac!

I can't think of any thing better than autocross if you want to go out and just see how your car responds to different inputs. I think most people would be surprised just how aggressive you can be and not go down in flames.

I am faster when I drive like crap, sliding and jerking around all over the place. I just don't like it.

haha, but if I buy you one, then I'd have to buy one for everybody else. (old coca cola commercial reference)

If I do win, I don't think I'd tell anyone (ideally). But chances are I'd pick up a few things that make it obvious.

as far as lottery nay-sayers. I have no problem pay "all those taxes" for money I'd otherwise never have, money doesn't buy happiness but it'll damn sure take care of a few of lifes bucket list, and as small as my chances are I know I have no chance without buying a ticket.

Picked up some tickets earlier. I have no hopes of winning it, I just think it's fun to participate. It's pretty insane that it went up another 100M in just one day.

As for winning, I also don't think I would tell anyone. But like Jeff said, I think my army of Ferraris and Porsches would give it away. Steve, I'll buy Yukai buffet and give it to you. Then you'll have to come down here a lot more.

Oh, and while on the lottery subject...

Saw a brand new 991 911 while driving through Kentucky yesterday. First time seeing one on the road. It was gorgeous. I'm sure we'll start seeing a lot more of them over the next few months.
