Default Start The Countdown! Today Is Day 1!!!!

I finally had time and took my front license plate off my S.

If you know me and bad luck, i will certainly be pulled over for not having them. So i am just seeing how many days it takes before i get stopped.

maybe a poll on this is in order....

Maybe instead of a poll, we should start a pool. Closest guess to your actual ticket date gets all the money.

My guess is 4/1/2002.... April Fool's Day

I don't think you have anything to worry about; I ordered my blue/blue in July, took delivery in November, and removed the front plate mounting bracket immediately after I got home.

The cops have much better things to do than pop non-front-plate-havin' nice car owners for such trivial things...

w1ngman,

I'm the guy you chased down on Broad one night a few months back. We ended up stopping and talking at the Saturn (yuck) dealership, of all places.

I was also the Suzuka pulling out of the BMW dealership as a bunch of you guys were pulling in; I was checking out a used M3.

I hadn't posted anything before last night because I spend countless hours in front of a computer at work, so the last thing I want to do is - you guessed it - sit in front of a computer.

I was the only Suzuka around until one day I saw 3 other ones in a matter of 10 minutes. Oh, well...

Yup folks, Q's right! He was the first legit Suzuka in Richmond. I met him waaaaay back when he'd only had his car for, like, one week. Q, if memory serves, didn't you have to get a body part replaced right off the bat when you'd first purchased it?

Great that you found the boards! And I understand what you mean about being in front of a computer 24/7. . But for me, these boards are the relaxation away from work.

Yep; my car arrived from Tochigi with a 10-inch, through-to-bare-metal scratch on the trunklid. I had West Broad do the work. The top was removed in order to mask and repaint the entire rear half of the car. I've brought it back in countless times because the top has squeaked ever since they touched it, parts were missing, etc. Nice...

Talk about bad luck... If anyone is going to get a ticket for no front plate, it'll be me, not dkhl...
