Well I just called Chesterfield Farms because I was gonna schedule this meet for the 30th of May but they told me that prime time is now and that there probably will not be any strawberries then. I like to give at least 2-3 weeks for meet scheduling that way people can make plans and won't end up in an O-SHIT I missed it moment... so as far as I can tell no strawberry picking meet this year... however they will open for Blackberry picking in June. I don't really like blackberries because of all the seeds but if there is interest we can make it happen...

blackberries make the best pies though! And the best jams. You can pick blackberries for free though on any VA countryside!

Instead of ridiculous amounts of planning, why not just do an impromptu deal for this weekend?

Only problem is you pick 2 watermelons and you're done...that's all one person can carry.
