It is so nice to learn that the owners of SP are investing in it. Back in the mid and late 70's when I campaigned WERRA road racing motorcycles there the track was pretty rough. There were times when us motorcycle racers would have to go slightly off line because the cars would chew the track up so badly (especially in the summer when the asphalt got bunched up in the braking zone into T5 ). I also remember one year when the S's had a big gouge in them that was wide enough to cause a serious problem for a 3.25" front tire of a motorcycle.

sounds like a good reason to go waste some gas and take some pictures!!!

If the weather is nice tomarrow ill go on a recon mission and get some arials

didnt know they had a helicopter... I did talk to his son about landing on the straight at main... didnt really give me a deffinate yes or no...

easier to ask for forgivness than permission
