Default Summit to Require Roll Bar Next Year

The guys that run the FATT program at Summit Point (BSR) say they're 95% sure they're going to require a roll bar for the S2000 next year for all track events, not just FATTs. They're also looking at the Boxter and other roadsters. It's time to buy stock in Hard Dog

I'm glad I didn't wait to do my first track day. Looks like I'm definitely going to be shopping for another car this winter.

That sucks. I guess I won't be able to use my S2000 anymore.

Anyone want almost new set of Carbotech pads XP8 all around. They only have 1 slow lead and follow session in the wet and 1 hard session on them.

Another can for track only or another car to make your S to be dedicated track only?
Another car to be a dedicated track car.

Too much work just to do HPDE in the S. I'd rather just do brake pads, fluid and tires and be done with it instead of needing a roll bar, seats, harnesses in addition to the other things just to run at the track. Plus if I get something cheap, I won't be tracking a car I owe money on.

Damn it. I best be on the lookout for the HD bar then.

Nick, how's that shift knob working out for you? I kinda miss it!

I like it a lot, actually.

Do you want it back?

That make sense to me. A Miata maybe or M3 E-36? I'm thinking of Miata myself but we'll see how's things looks like for me next year .

A new set runs $ 286, 153 for the fronts and 133 for the rears.

How about $200.00?
