only while I was working in the car. They are back on now.

As to the hard top being permanent, yes. I can pop it off for a quick cruise but I have to put it back on as I would have no roof otherwise.

I just couldn't stand the feel of the extra weight with the hardtop and soft top installed. Plus I don't use the soft top much anyway.

^ I don't blame you. I think that is why I'm holding off for the hardtop. I'm not ready to ditch the softtop just yet. I got my car in the winter so for the first two months I had it I wasn't able to put the top down and I got so used to it being up and I like the feel even with the top up. I could definitely live with a permanent hardtop.

What was the purpose of removing the soft top?? Are you planning on tracking the car?? It looks like it was cut off so you can't be planning on selling it.
