Default Sushi Saturday

What's up everyone. I need to get a head count of who definitely wants to go out to get some sushi. Most sushi restaurants do have cooked food. So for those who don't like sushi, there would be other choices.

Looking at TODAI's in Fair Oaks Mall. It a great sushi buffet place. It has both hot and cold food. If you have other suggestions, Please post them.

Okay. So this is where it looks like we are going. (Thanks Mark, if it sucks. We'll be sure to let you know.)

Dylan had also made a suggestion of maybe heading to D & B's afterwards.

Like many sushi places, this sushi spot is all decked out in blond woods and cutesy Japanese decor with the seating arranged by stools at the sushi bar and at tables. Unlike some other sushi places, the sushi chefs love to talk with customers and with each other. However, what it does not offer is anything that is offbeat or different. Nevertheless, with its selection of good sushi combinations and its interesting sushi specials such as toro (fatty tuna), white tuna and ankimo (monkfish), patrons are assured of a good sushi meal. They can also count on hearty bowls of soup and assorted other Japanese favorites, from tempura to teriyaki. The food is not consistently good nor does every dish sparkle with creativity, but the staff is pleasant and the service is competent.

Thanks,

Tom

As expected I will be there. I just need to get with Evan to ensure that he hasn't previously made plans for Saturday night. As well that he knows where this location is!
If nothing less, I am sure that Dan can lead us there. He says he's only 15 minutes from Evan

Yeap, Todai will cost you $25 for dinner, but it's the only sushi buffet around the area. At least for dinner anyway. Although I heard dinner is better then lunch. We'll find out.
