Okay thanks.

My question is:

Part of my tattoo has just raised up a bit. Why?

uppitychick,

I am leaving work right now. But should be able to ask your question tonight.

Couple of things:

-How old is the tattoo?
-Where is it located?

Did you just get the tat? If you did then it needs time to heal. Now if it's an old tat, then it has scarred up underneath. The tattoo artist that you went to pushed the needle in too far and it's caused some scarring to occur underneath. A good tattoo artist will only go to the 4th layer of skin and not anymore. A bad tattoo artist will go to the 6th and cause scarring and a lot of pain to the person getting the tattoo done.

Hahaha yeah Ryan's Tatoo is real, and that is just the outline of the wankel and VIN, the finished product has a bunch of other stuff to the design and color incorporated as well.

Serious dedication to the rotary :-P

I dunno about a Mazda, but I'd think of having the VIN to my first exotic tatooed on me

It is less than a year old. I have not had any problems with it at all.

It is lower back. Could something have irritated it? I have been in a car for a good while today.

Although I understand the desire to get a Tattoo, I've always wanted to get something different from everyone else...... My choice..... get nothing! Good Luck with your brothers business.

Has the rise been there the entire time? Or is it just happening now? The lower back is a sensitive area, so it will easily get irritated. I have one tat (my first one) that is underneath my right bicep and if you run your fingers across it, you can feel a slight rise. It will occassionally raise up a little more when irritated. No biggie. My other tats, were done correctly, so they haven't raised up at all.

Okay, that must be it then. It has not been raised ever. There was a little jewellery thingy on my unmentionables that must have rubbed against it in the car.

So it will just go away then?
