Terrible night! Hit and Run!
Just wanted to vent a lil bit. Lastnight I was in Baltimore with a few friends. We went out to dinner and I come back to my car and realized someone had hit my car and took OFF!. No NOte, No witnesses... **** **** ****
Here are a few pics.. I just hope that i dont need a new headlight. Can anyone tell me how much this is gonna cost to fix? Can anyone recommend a good shop in the Baltimore/Howard County area.

Something tells me since you didn't call the cops, there may be more to the story or you had been drinking.
I parked the car, went to dinner, came back and noticed the damage.
Im debating on going to the insurance company cuz i dont want my rates to go up! I figure if this cost about a grand to fix (deductible is 500$) id rather pay for it myself.

So then, why are you worried about getting parts? Your insurance will cover it. It's a non-moving, no-fault claim and will not affect your premiums.
Many times the deductible for a hit-n-run type claim is less than your standard deduction, but it still depends on how you have your policy setup. I've been part of a h-n-r.

yeah it def. sucks.. u feel totally powerless. I was sooo upset that I actually walked around Baltimore thinking I would find the car that hit mine. It totally sucks cuz when I was 14yrs old I was skateboarding and put a small dent in a parked car while doing a trick. I waited around for the owner of the car and when they didnt show I left a note with my name and full contact info.
I just needed to vent! arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!

That sucks (and lol @ Skip and his jump to conclusions mat
) but he and the others are right... this is an easy claim for you to make on your comprehensive insurance. It won't raise your rates, and it won't cost you more than your deductible.

Only because I did something similiar to you. The above took place at TPC at Avenel golf course. A bunch of folks were caddying for the Pro-Am, me being one of them. If you notice, you can see someone slid into me and then took off. I looked at the tire prints and then went all over the place looking for matching tires.I found a set belonging to a truck(the vehicle that struck me was rwd). I took pictures of his plate and base sticker, but the cops didn't care. Anyway, when I first saw the car(there was a rain delay and we were going to go get some chow), I was screaming obscenities at the very top of my lungs!
Mind you, this was at a nicer golf club.I understand your frustration. It was only 4 days prior to that hit-n-run that I got my first carshow trophy, so she was looking fairly decent and then- WHAM!
