Default Test Pipe for AP2

I'm thinking about installing a test pipe on my AP2. I've done a lot of search on this subject, but I didn't find anything conclusive.

What I'm trying to figure out is whether installing a test pipe on an AP2 (with a K&N intake and a single 63mm Buddy Club Spec IV exhaust) will make the car run lean at WOT.

I guess what I'm trying to find out is if anyone has installed an intake, test pipe and an exhaust and run it on the dyno to check A/F ratios. I'm mostly interested in the A/F ration at WOT (open loop) since the ECU will adjust fuel trim during closed loop operations. Thanks.

I don't have any specific data but people having been running TP on AP1 and AP2 for years and I have never heard of any issues with reliability. A TP will give you a couple H.P. at most, I can't imagine it would lead to running lean on a NA car.

I guess I can install the test pipe and do a dyno run just to check A/F ration. That Berk test pipe sitting in my garage sure looks purdy. I'm changing it mostly to save a few pounds and also to make my exhaust a bit louder. The Buddy Club Spec IV is too quiet.

What dyno are you going to go to? Where in MD do you live?

I think ISP or Inline Pro should have a dyno. I'm in Howard County, but I'm not sure how far these two places are. I'm still thinking about it.

Oh you are way up there. I was going to say I could probably get you on the dyno @ tempest for a very good price. You don't really need dyno time though do you? You are not tuning the car right? You just need a WB...

No tuning. Just curious about the WOT A/F ratio. I think one run will do it.
