Eagerly awaiting details.....

Nothing is written in stone yet, just an idea that I had last night and wanted to extend to the community to get their feelings on it.

Jeff, with you being a bit more active in the community and from WV I could certainly use your help when it comes to organizing things. What I'd like to do, if at all possible is try to get a single representative in all the 'sections' of Mid-A to see if they can gather their local crowd... then have one meeting spot for all of us.

My goal is to have everyone intermingle. I know in the past people sort of stuck with the crowd they knew. Hopefully at this event it will be one big crowd versus a lot of small crowds.

Sorry you feel that way and I can't speak for the MD/DC Co's but if you ask around or come to a SOVA meet I'm almost always at the meets around here.

I'm with Jeff and Chad on this. Let's wait til it gets a little warmer and maybe do a meet, greet, and eat somewhere. Does early to mid March sound good?

How on earth is your response relative to Chad query?

[quote name='Black Nugget' date='Jan 26 2009, 11:55 AM'] With that said, I was wondering how some of the members, both current and old would feel about a larger gathering.

That won't be a problem, Chad. I'm happy to help...

I am more than certain I can get the HAW crowd down there. Some of the B'More guys will be tough. Richmond is a loooooong haul for them but I'll see what I can do.

^^^ .. and bingo night has been a huge hit! jk

Bill, we've spoken on the phone a few times. You are SIGNIFICANTLY more active in the local S2000 community. I'm still good friends with the HR Cowboys (if you're OG, you understand this). I should be able to gather the old school guys, but am going to need your help with the new guys.

I suggest we find a park w/ ample space and parking where we can grill. And have games like the 3 legged race, potato sack race and egg on the spoon race... Just a friendly suggestion. Some of the meets in the past have been the run of the mill lemme hang w/ my buddies n sit around. I can bring advil for skip, wingman and the like if they are able to make it so they can participate as well.
