I-64 seems like a bad road anyways...seems like everytime I make the drive to VA Beach there's always a really bad accident somewhere along there.

its a damn shame about the cops thing...but hopefully its for the actual purpose of safety and not just for the moola.

I64 baffles my mind. I was through there the other day, down by Newport News. I was all alone in the 2nd to the left lane, traveling at 80mph. A guy merges, and takes the right lane.

Then the next lane.

Then my lane.

This forces me to slow down to his speed of 60mph.

I then take the left lane to pass. But no. He wants to do 60 there too.

Again, It was just the two of us, but I guess he really liked my truck nd wanted to hang out with me.

I thought you VA boys left all the retards on the NOVA roads?

I truly believe that the local police department is a commission based job.

Not so much commisioned, but I do believe in tough economic times, traffic enforcement increases. Is there a correlation. You bet your behind there is.

Budgets rely on an estimated amount coming in, and if this amount falls (due to say, um, property tax revenue dissapearing) then they have to make it up somewhere else. New taxes take too long to pass (and are unpopular with the masses) so what else is there to do but increase revenue collection from avenues already in place?

Suxor system to say the least.
