Tint Day 3 Aug. 20th, 2006
Civicguyinva aka Mike has organized some special pricing for the s2ki community!
Due to a high interest in getting cars tinted, I have created a thread to keep track of everyone and to plan the events. Please let me know what you plan on showing up in/how many windows and % of tint (or just say VA/MD legal).
When:
8/20/06
Starts at 9am and will go until their arms fall off. (Minimum of 15 cars) COME EARLY! Order of cars tinted is first come first serve.
Where:
Peter's shop

Material Used:
Diamond Window Film: 20%, 35%, 50%, and semi metallic

Custom tinting can be done if you let me know in advance.
State Laws:

MD 35% any window except windshield, up to a 5" banner on windshield
VA 50% front 35% rear and banner can't go below AS1 line on windshield (since the s2000 does not have an AS1 line it is illegal to tint it with stock windshield)
Tinting promptly begins at 9 am. If you show up later in the day, do not have high expectations that your car will be done. I had to turn down 2 cars on 8/6 because they decided they couldn't come early and would sleep in. You snooze, you lose.
S2000:
2 side windows = $80
3 (2 side and glass rear) windows = $120
Other vehicles:
2 dr. 3 windows = $150
4 dr. 5 Windows = $170
Wagons = $200
5" Window Banner (any vehicle)
$30

It sure was. Should have taken those days when they were. If you want to pay for my electric bill for the shop and all the food and beverages I provide, I'll be more than happy to lower the costs.
