Default Tire Wear

I thought rear tires are supposed to wear out much faster than front tires. I don't know if I need more neg. camber in my car, but the outside edges of my front tires have worn down a lot. The back tires are in great shape though. I wonder if the high temperatures caused this wear last weekend.

High temps wouldn't cause wear unless it was for an extreme duration (many months). I usually get 1-2 seasons out of my rears, 2-3 out of the fronts.

Any idea what your front camber is set to now?

I think you tack your car, right??? Tracking the car does wear out the outside of all tires. Remember that during hard braking while entering corners, most of the cars traction is no the outside-front tire. That's why race cars have so much camber (I don't remember if it is + or -).

Mine must be a + right now the way it's worn.

on my previous ap1, it was lowered 1 inch on the eibach pro kit. the rears didnt show any wear, but the fronts showed plenty of camber/toe wear. i know that camber and toe share the same wear characteristics.

It just means you are cornering pretty hard and need more neg camber.
