Default Tires

My ride is stock ...... I'm planning a cross country trip this fall and will need a set of new tires before I leave. It has been suggested that the Bridgestone RE050A Pole Position tires would be a good match. Unfortunately I will need to go up a size - 225/45R17 and 255/40R17 as the stock 215/45/17 and 245/40/17 aren't available. Thoughts? Any rubbing?

Lots of people go with 225 / 255's on these wheels with no issue. Enjoy the extra contact patch!

i currently have the 255/40 RE050A's on my AP2 wheels. IIRC the actual tire width is almost identical to the factory 245 RE050.
