It took me exactly one month, but i finally broke 600 miles.... man.. it was soooo painful to wait...

but tomorrow, i am going to hear how the HKS exhaust sounds in vtec mode....

 

congrats on getting by the "break-in period"!! Be sure to keep a close eye on your engine oil level though!!

 

Congrats man!!!! Don't forget to check that oil. Mine has burned just a little (maybe 1/4 of a quart) in 1500 miles.

I'm hoping to have my HKS installed by Friday..................we'll see

 

I think it took me a couple months to get to 600, and it was torture. I forced myself to go out even though it was pretty chilly out (Mar/Apr 2001). I now only drive it when I WANT TO. I just went over 1600 miles last week. I still prefer to take my CBR600F4 when the weather is perfect.

 

i still haven't vtec it yet.. man... maybe this weekend. i will keep an eye on that oil level.

Wow how on earth could you wait so long? It took me a week, and I was still in pain I had my first oil change done on my '02 at 7600 miles yesterday after 4 months of ownership
Regarding oil usage, in the above period of time, she burned 5 full quarts of oil Thank goodness I have this site to learn about such importants things like oil usage etc.
