Tuning shop
This winter I was gonna start work on the S again but....again due to vehicle transfer issues I wasn't able to get it to where I am. But none the less this summer vac. (in like 2 months) I'll be back in MD for good for two or three months and will definately start the S project once again. But my car hasn't moved for....6-7months now and needs serious tune up. Hell you guys should see the brake rotors...rusted as hell. Anyhootz two things:
1. Is it arite to start it again after a year of sitting and drive it about....5 miles to a garage? or should I tow it?
2. My S is gonna go under suspension installation as well as few body work and tuning. Anyone know the best place to get a UR turbo setup tuned??

And you call yourself a Honda S2000 Tuner
Just kidding
Has your car been started up in those 6-7 months? If not, bring your battery charger (just in case) and crank that engine up. I would let her sit at idle for a looooong time - like 30 minutes under your supervision. Make sure the car does not start idling wildly and all your belts sound normal and so on.....
Then go ahead and drive it the 5 miles it needs to go, but before turning the car back off again, let it sit at idle for another 5 minutes or so, once you've made it to the shop.
If you start the car up, and let it sit for 30 minutes at idle, and you start hearing anything that sounds overly out of the norm, then have that car towed - don't drive it.
Also - check your oil level before starting the car up!
This is the typical procedure for starting a Volkswagen after it has sat longer than 4 hours

Hey - I didn't know you moved! I thought you sold the S and everything with it. You should contact E-Heezy (Eric) or SuzukaS2k (Jackie) for your tuning issues. I believe Eric went to Horsepower freaks (flew someone in) and Jackie went down to Terry @ Spool.
