Default VA Attractions

I'm going to be heading down to Fairfax, VA next week and wanted to
to get some recommendations on where to go for attractions? I'm down for anything (almost..). Just don't get me killed. Thanks!

Amusement parks most definitely.

As for Malls? I'm going to tell my girl they don't exist in VA.

just visited mount vernon last saturday!..
an awesome choice, also consider thier river cruise. it was like $9.00 more to the admission.

they also have a museum in the premises. pretty cool and educating.

DC is probably the biggest attraction near VA. Skyline Drive/Shenandoah Naitonal Park/Blue Ridge PArkway are absolutely gorgeous to drive on though, and there is some awesome hiking up there as well.

Considering I'm not a fan of big city areas my recommendation must be to drive out to Shenandoah national park (about 1 hour from Fairfax), it's pretty low traffic this time of year still and beautiful.
