Personally, im glad I live in Maryland. The great state of Maryland has 7 rescue helicopters scattered throughout the state operated by the Maryland State Police. We are the only state with FREE emergency medivac... all funded by 11 dollars of our vehical registration fee.

And I also have a new hatred for Richmond... I will never go back there.

Oh so thats what that "helicopter fee" was the last time I went to court...

If you were flown by the hospital you will be charged A LOT but if your flown by the state police there is no charge/minimal charge
