Hello to you all VA S2kers,

My wife and I just decided on an impromptu VA weekend after our labor day plans
fell through.

We'll be spending Saturday in the Luray area (the caverns and the Skyline Drive) . We know there are a few places we could visit on Sunday but are not quite sure we want to deal with
Monday return traffic so we are considering driving back to Raleigh on Sunday (after lunch).

Any suggestions? Also, I read the post about the NOVA meet on Monday but there did not seem to be much interest. I would like to meet some VA owners and would consider hanging around
until Monday if this meet is going to have a decent attendance.

Not sure as to what route you'll be taking back to the Carolinas, but I'm 3 miles off I-95 in Fredericksburg. Tenblade and I will be coming back from Hardtopguy's in Cleveland Sunday morning. Chix_Rule will be at our house Sunday as well.

Cook-outs are the norm at our place. You are more than welcome to stop in and grab some grub/conversation. If time permits, there is a wickedly fun road just a tad north of me at Quantico. There are growing numbers of owners that can vouch for the "fun factor" of that road.

Actually, I guess anyone that doesn't have anything to do on Sunday afternoon is more than welcome to come by. No, I won't be detailing anyone's car that day!!!

The other two owners are from the VA Beach/Norfolk area! Yes, we are planning on being home around noon/1 pm. Either way, you're welcome to do a fly-by or hang with us.
