VAFC install postponed
Some people have emailed me about observing the VAFC install we had scheduled for Reedz's and my car today (Saturday) at Altered Atmosphere it Gaithersburg. Unfortunately, the VAFC units have not yet arrived, so we've had to postpone.
When they do finally come, we will reschedule the install, and I'll post the date here. When that happens, we'll be dloing at least three cars and maybe four -- mine, Reedz, Jim Schmidt, and Hiroprotaganist -- provided we can get all of our calendars in sync.

Same here rick, i have to get mine installed and tuned. you said that it would take 5 hours... is that part of what you are paying? down here, it is $25 a dyno run, so is that what they are doing ??? wouldn't 5 hours on the dyno pretty expensive...
Standard VAFC tune price from AA = $165. That includes multiple dyno runs and about 3 guys to help you get it right. If 3-4 cars are being fully tuned, I don't believe that there will be time for others to do any runs, en masse.
VAFC install prices vary depending on the complexity of the install. For a basic install you're looking at about $200 (NOT including tuning), depending on where you want it and if you have the harness. I installed my own VAFC in the radio door and I had the harness. It took about 5 hours to do the whole thing.
To properly dyno/tune cars with VAFC takes a fair amount of time - if you're interested in just going for a few runs then I suggest going on an alternate date. I tried to set up a group dyno event and I thought the price was high (see related thread). AA wanted $600 for 10 cars or $60/run. I thought this was a lot and the event never materialized.
