Default Valve adjustment

Well hello there my fellow locals. My car has reached a milestone. It has finally surpassed 40k miles. In passing that 40k miles I am unaware if my car needs a valve adjustment but I would like to get the valves looked at and placed w/in spec or adjusted as needed. I am searching for someone w/ expertise and knowledge in this field. I would be willing to provide compensation of a non sexual nature but if you wish to try your luck with that pm me A/S/L... but seriously I would like someone who knows what they are doing to fondle the insides of my pride and joy.

P.S. Bill you would be the first person I would ask but if I recall correctly you are not doing maintenance anymore but if so pm me.

I'm located in the better state of Maryland (Md > Va) near Andrews Afb

Anthony, I understand your concern despite the odometer reading. Just to let you know, Honda recommends a valve adjustment at 100k miles or when the valvetrain becomes unusually loud. My S2000 was my first import and was purchased new. My jank was loud from the get-go.

All that said, I know I'm not close and I have two guys waiting for me to do theirs, but if you do not find someone you trust, I will do it. Since the car has to be cold to perform the adjustment properly, that would mean you'd either be stuck in my company for hours or someone would have to follow you down.

Well If I recall correctly, you're not one to be short of words, so I'm pretty sure you'll talk for those few hours to pass the time Thank you for your offer. I will keep it in mind.
