Default Valve adjustment please

Hey guys, I'm pretty sure I need a valve adjustment....engine gets way too loud randomly at vtec. Never an issue out of vtec and typically only happened when outside air temp was low. Hoping that's all the issue is and I'll be babying it until it's looked at. Yes, I hear it is easy....BUT I'd rather pay someone else to work on my engine. I'd be more than willing to bring it to MD or anywhere around NoVA for the work, but would prefer a Honda tech to do it. Mark? James? Car has 43k miles.

P.S. Will not take it to Dulles Honda.

Thank you to aeonracer for the help. He came over and did most of the work while teaching me so I can do it myself next time. Great guy and beautiful car.

A few of the intake and exhaust valves were out a couple thou. We didn't VTEC it, but when we started it up the valve train was nice an quiet.

Just a friendly reminder to all that a valve check on our cars should be done every 30k miles or so, its a cheap and easy check vs having to replace a motor or rebuild a bottom end.

Kamil, you should have told me you and Mike were going to hang out! I'd have come along.

Disclaimer for NoVA folks: Kamil is gem if you ever need some help with your car. He's helped me with countless odds and ends, installed my heated seats and FIPK, I could literally go on for several more paragraphs here. All around great guy.

I wouldn't call it hanging out, I think I was there for a total of an hour, maybe...

Thanks for the kind words Ed!
