Uh.. if you mis-shifted... it could be more than just valves. Your cylinders could be scorched. Many bad things could have happened, not just valves.

Or atleast they don't think they have screwed anything up. Your valves can be "ok" while your valve retainers are cracked. When they brake (usually delayed) the engine goes. I would pull the valve cover, check the retainers and do a compression check.
Who says street racing is stupid? You showed that guy in the Mustang who was boss....

Hahahahaha, you're the greatest.

He would of been too far ahead of the mustang by the end of 3rd gear that it wouldn't have mattered whether he mis-shifted or not So yeah, he showed him.

actually ya i was ahead of him..and even after the misshift i was still ahead of him so i guess i did....and its not like i exactly drive around to find a race because i am bored...i had a oppurtunity to show some young kids in a mustang that they shouldn't rev on everything on the street cuz they got a mustang and i got a honda..since oppurtunity knocked i open the door and let him know mustangs aren't that great..if i would have messed up my valves it would have been worth it since at the light they gave me a compliment and admitted they lost. But on that note took the car to honda and car is just fine they did a diagnostic and checked everything and they gave me a

You took your car to a Honda dealer? Did they pull the valve cover?

Do a compression test? What did they check?

"diagnostic check" means the dealer hooked it up to an OBDII scaner. As stated earlier, if you over-reved that bad, the valve cover needs to be pulled, compression checked and valve retainers looked.
