I understand your cuts, but if you are cutting holes in the hood to release the hot air out of the engie bay, the downforce of the air as your driving causes the air to be forced into the holes.

If you look at all the after market hoods there is either a lip at the front of the hole to direct the air over the whole or there is a lower vent and the opening is under the hood to cause the air to flow over the vent.

I am adding aluminum under the cut outs to cause the air to be pulled out of the engine bay. Sorry I don't have any pictures at this time. I have been making cardboard templates, before I bent up the vents.

 

OHHHHHHH........i get it! i see what your talking about......so maybe its not worth cutting those extra holes then?

 

Not unless you have a way to make the air flow over the hole.

 

Yeah.......i was talking with Anthony.. "sparrow" about it. he sais anything after the 3 holes on the passenger side is pointless.
