Greetings from Socal. Came by to see if you guys have heard anything that we on the West havent yet. My prayers are with all of you who may have known someone effected by todays events

Any potential known motive? Here's what I found online...

Gunman
The identity of the perpetrator is currently unknown. One eyewitness told Fox News the gunman was a young Asian man believed to be a student, possibly in his early 20s[citation needed] wearing a maroon cap and a black leather jacket,[8] or possibly a bulletproof vest.[12] He committed suicide by a self-inflicted shot to the head.[3] He was believed to have used two 9 mm caliber handguns or a 9 mm caliber handgun and a .22 caliber handgun.[1] Authorities said that the gunman carried no identification.

I knew a guy who did a fatal shooting at UMCP a few years back. Seemed friendly and normal - just one day goes and shoots his GF in the face and then killed himself... she survived, but was permanently disfigured.

Some people do too good a job hiding their inner turmoil.

i watched it when it was just the early report. so when everyone started iming me saying did you hear about vtech, i'm like yeah... poor RA and that girl... and they are like.. what you talking about!!! 22 people.. scary how in just a mater of hours, the front page of CNN went from 1 killed to 22....

This is just a sick world we live in... tons of healing needs to happen.. and it's not going to be quick... everyone in Richmond is going to know someone, maybe not personally, but maybe 1 person removed...

Prayers, condolences, and sympathy to all involved...

You know, everyday we all take a risk just by walking out the door in the mornings...

Sad, sad, tragic day to say the least...

We have at least two forum members that attend VT. I wish they would post up to let us know they are ok as well.
