Yikes! $50 would get me every-other-day meal-money for when I don't get to eat (so that I can afford my Spa!). Talk about priorities!!!???!!!

I know I should get up there with you guys...but for me, there will be more trips -- I promise! Now VA, on the other hand...you have to make that virgin-run up there Saturday. It is a moral imperative!

Here is a question for those of you who are veterans of the go kart place. I am thinking about setting up some sort of helmet-cam configuration with a webcam, mic, and a laptop. I can use duct tape to stick the mic and camera to the helmet, but is there a place in the cart for a laptop? I doubt there is, but I think this would be very cool!

I may look into some sort of wireless options also.

so, what ya think?

I just don't see anyway to put a laptop on the cart. You are going faster then you think......plus, you got some pretty good g-forces!

Interesting idea, but I don't think the owner would let it fly. (no pun intended!)

welp, I'll bring all required stuff tommorow, including plenty of duct tape, and see what they say. Who knows, they may be able to use the video on their website if it turns out good...
