Default West Va Panini Run on Sat

UPDATE Meet at the Sheetz at 9:30

Its the corner of 15 and 55 in Haymarket, Take 66 West to Exit 40, left on 15, the Sheetz is 1/4 mile on the left

Be ready to drive out at 10:00 AM.

Matt in VA originally put a feeler out for a drive I am just taking over...

The weather on Sat looks really good for a drive.

I have a route similar to the one we did in August, just goes further west a bit. And leads to a fantastic little place for Panini sandwichs for lunch.

This is a bit of a drive, appx 150 miles from DC (ONE WAY) but well worth it.

At least 4 mountain ranges crossed and 100 miles of back roads with many twisties and scenic areas.

Plan on leaving ~ no later than 10:00 AM from the Sheetz and getting back around 4:00

This will be a touring type of pace, while rural there may be some leaf peepers in the way. Also many DEER to keep an eye out for.

Can I get a show of hands of interested folks?

I'm interested. I'll have to check with my +1 and get back to you. No one knows these roads better than Gfacter....

George, if I can make it up there, could I be your +1? Also, I could bring your tent.

I would really like to make it, but the wife totaled her car last Friday and I am in he process of healing that situation. Looks like a 2006 Accord Coupe 2 door EX package is in order.

I hope the rest of you folks go for it, because the leaves have just changed this week.
