I just got my Koni's through Steve at Evolution and I was very impressed. He was an excellent communicator and my Koni's arrived in 4 days. Like the others said call Steve.
I agree Steve and John are both great guys...but it's missing the old flavor when Jeff was there.

Ok all is fine at this point. I talked with Steve via PM and explained the concerns. It will be up to my brother-in-law if he wants to continue on and get pricing/business.

Steve was responsive via PM as you all said, so no concerns there.

thanks again!

Hi guys,

I'm usually very responsive on pm and I tried to answer everyone's phone call. Most of time I'm on the phone constantly and if you leave a message, I'll be sure to call you back.

As for customer service, I also try my best to fully explain in depth on what the customers are asking. I know many of you are friends with Jeff and unfortunatly he no longer wish to be in this kind of business so there you go with that. While he was here, he dealt with all the public relation and I dealt with rest of the management.

Operating a shop by my self is very hard as I sometimes have personal matter to attend to. So, sometimes, I admit that I didn't get to the shop on time like today. But I always leave late up until 8:00 pm or so.

This little mishap I firmly believe was a miscommunication. I received a call asking if I can get Axis wheels. I said no I cannot. He said thank you and hung up. I never was asked if he needed anything else or can I recommend others. From the pm I had with ciccone376, sound like his brother was already prejudice because he said my shop don't look fancy enough. Well, I guess he can shop at other fancy shop and get charged for a premium if he wish. I would still help him on recommendation if he would just ask.

I havn't been in the mid atlantic forum for a while as I am constantly answering phone, email, and pm's but if any of you need anything or have a question, feel like home and give me a call. I think the main problem is virginia sales tax as 5% is like a shaft no matter what discount I can offer.

Anyways, I may not sweet talk like Jeff but I always deliver what I promised. I may sound too straight foward sometimes but isn't that better than trying to twist things around?

Thanks for looking.

It's got to be a tough business, nowadays everyone shops the internet to death and then expects world class service for the internet price.

Believe it or not, I get this in the bowling pro shop frequently. Fortunately, you can't use a bowling ball without the holes. Despite the effort of some, having balls drilled by the i-net companies still hasn't proved effective.

I personally dont know how it was when Jeff was around, but my interaction with Steve was definitely a very positive one.

The "service" I got was top notch and the product was definitely to my liking

As I had previously posted, Steve was very responsive to my PM and we both agreed the interaction between him and my brother-in-law could be called a miscommunication.

Thank you Steve for taking the time to talk to me via PM. I appreciate that.

I also hope that the fact that I was trying to provide a local brick and mortor shop with business wasn't lost in the translation.

Have a good weekend all.
Chris
