I saw car driving down 70 today. Sounded like a V8...

the roofline, side windows, and doors remind me of a vette. possibly a converted vette (dunno why converted to that)

I'm pretty sure it's an Avanti.

I saw one in the showroom of an Altus Oklahoma car dealer back in the '90s. Kind of cool looking in an offbeat sort of way.

My neighbor had one when I was a kid. '62 or '63.

After looking at the interior and exterior pics at that site, I really don't like it. I can appreciate the throwback to its roots with Studebaker, but the car really does nothing for me.

Good find on the road, though!
