before you put body work on the car you have to lower it!

Id strongly suggest some coilovers and gears. Youll get the most out of those two mods. And why not do it right when your modding, and instead of getting knock off coilovers, get the real deal.

I think theres a mid a vendor selling some nice coilovers in a group buy.

My KW's are the best mod I have made to the car yet. The handling improvements are remarkable.

You are right... 2k is a lot of money. I was only able to swing it due to a fortunate change in my employment (read severance package... ).

The KW's are the only attempt I have made at modifying my suspension so I can't really comment on any other setups. I will say, though, that I am very, very happy with my purchase.

I will add this one thought (only because I really believe it)... Don't go "cheap" on any of your mods. You do get what you pay for. That doesn't mean you shouldn't look for deals or inexpensive parts... Just don't buy junk just because you don't think you can afford the better quality items. Spend wisely and you will be much happier in the end.

Are you going to sell your exhaust? You live real close to me, do you ever get hassled by police at all?

I say get a front lip and espiler(sp?) springs and go from there.

for 2k you could do a lot, or a little

Dousn't seem like it, but you can. if you want power, you can get on that current megan group buy for H/E/TP, get an AEM EMS off the boards, and hit up inline pro for a single tuning session.

You could push up your suspension, KW's or swift+koni (don't forget halfshaft spacers..., spoon bushing, sway bar, STB set.

Mix and match as you choose, but like W said, from my limited experience, this isn't like building a civic or rsx, this car was engineered well to start with, so finding upgrades, TRUE upgrades, is both difficult and expensive. Don't cut corners.
