You want speed, but seats or a hardtop are what you're considering next? Anyone else see a disconnect on this one?

if you want a lil more speed and dont care for a soft top.......Do what i did and get a hard top and rip out the Soft top.....saves weight.....and believe me its noticeable.

as much as we're cool allen i highly suggest against this...the gears will be cheaper and far more noticeable...and plus what nutwank rips out his perfectly good soft top

You don't really save that much weight. Unless you plan to track the car exclusively, I would keep the soft top. I took mine out and replaced it with a hardtop. Not much weight savings there and I sometimes miss having a softop.

At the very end of the day it's your car. Go with what you feel like you should do.
