Was wondering if anyone knew the schedule of the Auto-X events which are hosted at that baseball field parking lot on I-95.

Would really like to go participate in one. If anyone has any info on how to sign up or do what I gotta do, I'd greatly appretiate it. thanks.

 

Capitol Driving Club has 17 events in the DC area this summer. Membership is currently full and frozen but you can try to get on the standby list.

If it doesn't rain on Saturday I'll be out at the Manassas event being held by CDC. Will be my first AutoX event, hopefully I won't embarass myself

 

what time is the auto-X in Manassas?

 

According to the website, registration begins at 8:30am, but I was told to be there by 8am. It might get cancelled due to rain though ... they said they'd let us know by 7pm.

If you didn't already pre-register there may not be any slots open though. When I pre-registered last Friday they said there was only 4 slots left open. Although a lot of people might not show up with the rain threatening.

I'm one of the CDC organizers. There are NO slots open at this point. The event may be rescheduled due to weather so check the website and your e-mail if you have reserved a slot. If the event does occur, you probably have a better chance of getting in on the standby list since some people will probably no-show due to rain.

 

There is one at the ripken stadium on May 1st. Thats what I belive you are talking about. Its a minor league baseball field off of I95 between Bmore and Wilmington. Ive never been there but I do other autoxs with these guys out of central PA at different venues. www.scca-susq.com
