It's been a while since my girlfriend and I have been able to go on a vacation. Since we've been dating we've taken quite a few vacations; Nags Head, Tyson's Corner, and Daytona Beach.
Later this year we are planning a trip to Las Vegas for her birthday, but I'm trying to think of something that we can do that wont break the bank between now and then. More than likely it will be early April.

Does anyone have any recommendations for some places semi-local, within driving distance that could be a fun weekend trip?

Again, we've done the DC & Nags Head thing so please don't mention those.

Hmm, Myrtle Beach is too cold in April; so that wont work either.

 

Myrtle Beach about 300miles always a great time!!!!

 

North Myrtle Beach it's not as touristy as Myrtle Beach

 

How about Gettysburg? My girl and I enjoyed that one. It is still a little cool in the early spring, though. I am also a history buff so that might have something to do with it, too.
