So the swine flu among others is ripping through the DC metro area.


Who here has had the swine flu or any other type?


4 people (myself included) have been sick with a 24-48 hour bug in the last week. No confirmation of specific pathogen.

1 person in our lab was out for 10 days with what sounds like swine flu. His wife is now sick and on anti-virals. He had the classic got sick for 48 hours, felt better than got worse and was sick for a week.

 

there was a thing on the news that i saw was in howard county and the labs were saying its not swine but has similar symptoms. so you might be in luck and just have the other flu.... good luck

 

My whole staff is sick at the moment and we're working a long weekend in close quarters...

Kid on base has it. He bowls in our youth league. We've had a bunch of folks ill in my immediate area. Somehow I missed it as it went through my house.

 

I just got better from a flu. Got sick for a day and a half, poped some pills, felt better.

Then a day later got sick for 5 days straight. Today is the first day I actually left the house.

 

Stay at least 100 feet from my front door

 

 

Been feeling bad all week, like on the verge of getting the flu. Zicam, Vitamin C, Echinacea, and rest have kept it at bay so far.
