No if you run the numbers a S2K with well done turbo putting down at least 325HP to the wheels will and should beat a C5 vette... Not a Z06 , just a normal vette..

To take a Z06 you would need something like 375..

------

Now with the detroit Horsepower wars starting back up I think you may see imports step it up abit.. For example new M5 will have AT least 550 Hp..

New M3 closer to 450 Hp..

But sweetj is right new vette BASE model has 400hp.. my guess new Z06 will be at 550 or so to give the Viper competiton..

but look at some of the other cars getting ready to hit the scene:

-New Mustang 300 Hp in GT model, imagine the SVT edition

-Basically all new Chyrsler pruducts including their subsidaris will be offering hemi's .. And if you SC a Hemi then you in that 500hp range..

-Even the new Nismo edition 350z is @ 320 HP...

So yeah.. thats my 2 cents..

i've got a comptech sc and supersprint exhaust on mine, that is if it's still in my garage - i haven't looked in there for a while - AndyP may have sold it!

other mods are daves bomb diggity corner clearing (thanks for cookin' it up bro), a set of blingin' 18" momo's, and an alpine system....i can't wait until the 4.57 gears come in at ricks2k so i can get those and my car will be even quicker, and it can sit in my garage even longer!!!

- can't wait for summer...

This was last January and I was running 310rwhp (the car was dynoed in FLA the day before I picked it up). In the particular instance I mentioned the guy zipped by me on the highway, slowed, and then zipped by me again. I was excited since I just got the new turbo and wanted to go. Three honks later we ran it up to 120+, when I shut down he was behind my rear bumper. It's times like that that make me realize the turbo kit is worth every penny.
