Default Windshield Replacements and Repairs

Hey guys I'm going to reach out to the VA crew I've been approached by a couple of members in VA needing new windshields. I have turned them down as its to far of a trip to make for one w/s it wouldn't be cost effective. If we can get at least 3 members for a w/s meet I would be happy to come down and replace them all. So let me know if your in VA and want a w/s and we can work out a day(or in MD and want to come for a meet). I am a professionally trained w/s technician and with w/s repairs, I live in MD and want to help out the community. For our community we can offer great deals with the care you can trust. This will need to be done on a weekend and we already have a place to meet up thanks to Mike Arsenault. A w/s takes about 1HR to replace and it needs to sit for at least 2 hours, the longer the better. A repair takes about 10-20 min and can be driven right after but should sit in the sun for about 15 min to cure. I can do a w/s for $150 (S2000 Only) and a repair for $35, my company does a repair for $69.95 and we can do $5 for each additional hit (any of your cars). We can make it a mini meet as it will take some time depending on how many cars we have. I will have to limit to about 10 people as a work van can only hold so many w/s.

Location: 24815 mason dale ter. Chantilly va 20152

May 10th

Also if you're in MD we can arrange a time I live in Laurel.

Thanks
Craig

I desperately need mine replaced (it's pitted to such a degree that direct sunlight makes for dangerously low visibility), but I'm afraid it might be a bit too far of a drive for me in SOVA.

Its nice to see there is someone local that does Windshields. I got burned really badly the last time I had a windshield replaced on an S. They broke a bunch of trim, wouldn't take responsibility for it, refused to give me a receipt so I could claim it on my insurance, lied to me etc.

That said, this bordering on a commercial post. Group events are fine, but make sure you aren't advertising a buisness.

I believe this will be done in Chantilly VA idk how far that is from you I'm not familiar with the VA area this is the house/garage that was available. I can work it out so your the first one done if you have a long trip so we have ample time for the glue to set up for a long drive.

I didn't meant to come across as advertising, I was planning on doing some work for some VA members that started on the MIDA facebook page and thought I could reach out to more members on here
There are a lot of shady glass shop out there unfortunately, the company I work for has been in business for over 30 years and is a family business we honor our work.

Nicely done Craig.

Not to be a downer but for that price they aren't OEM w/s are they?

Out of curiosity, how many cars would you need to travel to 18067?

They are not OEM but they are high quality w/s from PGW or Pilkington they are widely know across the USA and you could look them up if you like.

I would like to have at least 3-4 and at most 10 cars to travel out of state as its an all day trip for me and costly for gas as I am driving a work van that doesn't get the best MPG. We would also need a area that can accommodate that many cars for a while depending on how many cars.

I do appreciate the consideration but unfortunately I'll have to pass.
