Thanks dude... I'm trying to skimp on gear but I have no idea where to get the best deals on the best gear... or even what people ride in. I know I need a helmet thats a given but I need to find a good jacket for a decent price, some gloves, and anything else that you would suggest. I'm gonna be riding the thing to work some too so I know wearing full leathers over my work attire would be retarded needless to say very hot in the summer....
Skimp on gear = Squid

You can borrow mine... if nothing less, that should be entertaining to see!

I am serious on the BMW stuff.

I went down in 2000 on coolant on a fast mountain road at 70 MPH slid across 2 lanes.

Didn't even have a bruise, BMW pants took most of the slide, still wear the jacket.

Bike was totaled as it slid into a ditch.

That's cool Bill! At various times in my life I've been tempted to buy one myself, but the wife DEFINITELY isn't having any of that. I actually dropped a bike while it wasn't even on (sitting on my best friend's bike, luckily it fell on my leg and in the grass so it only made a small scratch) so that was enough to suggest that I'd probably kill myself if it was actually rolling.

But I do like them, and I know you're going to have some fun this summer!
