Default WTT: Secret Compartment Hatch w/ Diffuser

Anybody interested? I'm tired of having another thing in the car to clean, and getting rid of it = weight reduction, which = faster!

From what I'm gathering. He is talking about the center console, he wants to trade his with the wind screen for one without the screen + cash.

he gets it... my actual reasoning for wanting to get rid of it is that it rattles a little bit and i have a phobia of rattles. i'm sure it could be quickly solved with some baffling material or just tightening it down, but for the amount that the windscreen helps i'd rather just get rid of it than try to find a tiny rattle.

Good luck Mike. If I can find someone with a center glove box without windscreen - I'd give my Center Console with Windscreen + Cash for theirs!

Naked Center Console > Windscreens!

Unscrew it and remove it. It takes a Philips screwdriver... problem solved.

Then you have four lovely holes in the top of glove box. I would think that if anyone would understand this it'd be you Chief Bling!

Based on what I could decipher from his initial post, your post makes zero sense.

Besides, have you tried to remove just the lid? Thought not... pain in the arse with the little pins. I've done it.

Nope, I was smart enough to ask Dave if he'd trade me for his just before selling his car. He told me how PITA it is to remove just the lid
