Get many more looks & comments with the top down (duhh)

Last week a guy pulled up next to me at a stop light & says "great looking car - you look good in it"

A couple of weeks ago at the car wash a woman couldn't stop touching it (the S).

Hard to get used to people ignoring me when I don't drive it

Hey, even us (really) old farts get lotsa looks (at the car). Amazing and fun to see how friendly car lovers can be. Probably at least fifty percent of the time when I'm getting gas somebody will comment on the car. Again, most do not know what it is.

EDIT: I could have gotten any one of several fun cars, but I'm SO glad I chose my S. A guy my age (63) just looks like a dumb-ass in something like a Vette, a Cobra, Porsche, etc. But a Honda is a different story. We have no pretentions; no nose in the air; just lucky people who have had the good fortune to own one of the most fun cars in the world.

Some guy had a whole conversation with me the other day at the Exxon near me while I was filling her up. He kept complimenting me and the car and I told him "Just go test drive one man, you'll love it."
