1999 Miata HPDE car
SOLD!

my HPDE car is for sale, I am asking $6k. It does clean up pretty good.
The basic:
1999 Miata, 5 spd, ~80,000 miles. Currently set up with Hard Dog Double diagonal rollbar, Tein Flex coilovers (custom spring rates 9k/6k), Momo steering wheel and adapter, Corbou seats and mounts/slider, Willans 6 pt harness (both seats), Racing Beat mid pipe and muffler, all new alignment bolts, fluids (engine oil, diff, tranny, coolant, brake fluid, plugs, fuel and air filter) changed regularly.
The Good:
All body parts original (has OEM stickers on fender, door, qtr panels), engine runs great, tranny shifts nicely. Has an excellent condition OEM factory Hard top (black) with liner and defroster. Hard top alone is worth $1k and would sell in about 1 day. Overall cosmetic condition is good, there are a few small door dings but overall paint is decent. No rust anywhere.
New rotors and Carbotech brake pads.
The bad:
I hit a deer a while back and the front hood is functional but crumbled/dented up. The front bumper is also a little bent up near the the hood meets. The paint on the top of the side mirrors is starting to flake off due to sun exposure and should be repainted.
Windshield has one pebble chip (upper right hand passenger side). It probably can be repaired and is not spidering (sp?) at all.
Car will throw a P420 CEL every so often which means that the intake manifold needs to be pulled off and thoroughly cleaned out (this will take you about 2-3 hours of labor).
The passenger side Corbaou slider broke so new slider needs to be ordered (~$75).
The passenger side seatbelt does not retract properly, it has to be pulled all the way out before it will advance/retract. I use harness so this has not been a problem for me.
The trunk and rear area behind the seats has been gutted but all the original parts will come with the car.
The cold weather we just had killed the battery.
The soft top was getting crusty so I pulled it off. You will get the frame but will need a new soft top if you plan on driving around with top down.
Additional notes:
In order to pass MD inspection, the original midpipe will probably need to be installed (it has one of the two cats on this car). The OEM midpipe is not installed but will come with the car. I would pull out the harness (takes about 10 minutes) and set up the OEM seatbelts since I do not think the inspectors will like seeing a 6 pt harness.
I think that is the basics. Car will come with OEM alloys and Dunlop All season tires. I have a bunch of wheel/tire (silver or black Enkie RPF1, Team Dynamic spec wheel with 888s or V710s) combos that I would be willing to add in for a good price. I also have a bunch of new, never installed parts that I would sell for SUPER cheap (koyo radiator, Racing Beat header, OEM water pump/timing belt/tensioner/gaskets etc.

This is a great track car if you want to get into HPDEs and don't want to mod your S. I could have bought this car for what I paid for my hardtop, KW V3's and Buddy Club wheels. Miata parts are cheaper too.
