ings+1 rear bumper:
This is the hybrid aero verion of the bumper. The bumper was not impacted directly. The other car hit my rear left fender so the corner that mounts closest to the fender snapped when the fender crumpled. It is a small piece and other than that the bumper is structurally perfect. I'm sure any body shop could mold the missing piece on. Fitment was excellent when it was on my car. My new bumper cost $1150 shipped brand new, and there is a minimum 3 month wait for it to be made and shipped from ings+1 in Japan (which I luckily avoided). I was quoted $400 to repair the crack and repaint/clearcoat (bottom in black, the rest in Suzuka) my new ings+1 rear which was rear ended the day i got the car back from the body shop. So i suppose you could use that as somewhat of a gauge as to how much the repair would cost, but I have very little experience with body work.

Does it sound raspy?

 

not at all. it is in perfect condition. no rattles or random vibrations of any sort. it has a nice clean sound (i think that was the point of the resonator), although when i switched to a straight berk pipe it sounded the same.

 

I might be interested after I pick up the S2K this week. What part of SS do you live in?
