Basically my Gf's phone just broke. I'm looking to buy her an Iphone that she can use. She doesn't need data stuff, is it possible to use the phone w/o data plan?


Let me know if any one has anything or can give me more information on the usability of the phone by just simply inserting her sim card. Or if you can't do that

oh PS i guess i'm looking into not spending more than 150-175.. which is why i'm looking at the 3G, not the 3GS.

Is that even a fair price? its two gens old, i don't even remember how much it was when it came out. I'm a verizon guy.

I've been keeping an eye out on ebay too

if it is threw at&t you have to have the data package.. if you find a jailbroken phone and go with another company you will not..

 

hmm so I can't get an iphone for at&t that i can just put a sim card into? :bummer: may have to lock/delete this thread haha

 

I have iPhone 4 and 3GS and 3GS dose not have data plan on it and you can take it in and get the iPhone card for any line at no cost

I'll give you the 3GS but screen is crackecabana still see / use it just has crack is outer glass) and has some dungs in case but you can get screen replaced and I belove it would rub less then 150$ but not sure

Also for data plan you might wanna block data because I find myself accedently using data all the time
